History of Alnwick Community Center
Alnwick Elementary School, located in Blount County, Tennessee, was a community staple built in 1918, rebuilt after a 1948 fire, and served local students until its closure in the early 1980s due to school consolidation, with its building now operating as the Alnwick Community Center. Another “Alnwick” school in the UK had its first building open in 1955 as Alnwick South First School, celebrating decades of educating local children before evolving, indicating different institutions sharing the name.
